R. H. Brown is an award-winning retired television journalist, clergyman, and author of books on the Gullah/Geechee Culture. Brown suggests that some 75% of Blacks living in the United States remain unaware of his one-of-a-kind group. The Gullah living on seacoast islands bordering mainly South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida represent a people having the purest bloodline of all African slaves brought to North America in wooded ships. Brown’s unique and highly relevant mission is to educate, entertain, inspire, empower, and minister to the needy he comes in contact with.
